Endocrinology Physician (MD/DO) ¾ time (30 hours/week)
Due to growth and the need to meet patient demand, West Denver Endocrinology is recruiting for a part-time (30 hours/week) compassionate and reliant endocrinology clinician with excellent clinical skills to join Dr. Rieniets in her well-established micro-practice located in an urban office building with attractive amenities.
- for MD/DO pay is $105/hour plus benefits, will also consider a qualified NP for pay of $73/hour

- Colorado medical license
- Relevant job experience
- Must be board certified or board eligible in either Endocrinology or Diabetology
Other job requirements:
- Available to see patients Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday x 10-hour shifts, plus occasional phone calls to patients
- Qualified to work autonomously and comfortable with working in a micro-practice
- Fully immunized, to include receipt of at least 2 doses of an approved COVID19 vaccine

Medical Assistant, full time
As a Medical Assistant for West Denver Endocrinology, you will be responsible for providing medical support to ensure efficient operation of the practice and patient care. Assist medical staff by performing clinical and administrative duties including assisting with procedures, taking patient phone calls, booking appointments, preparing medical forms for physician signature, managing incoming and outgoing documents, performing data entry tasks, preparing form letters, and mailing correspondence to patients. Earn $49,500 annually (gross yearly salary).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent substitute
- Completed an Accredited Medical Assistant program
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8hr shifts
- EMR knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Good verbal and written skills
- Correct grammar, spelling skills
- Able to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge in the field of medicine
- Confident positive manner and appearance
- Customer service skills and phone etiquette
Responsibilities
- Assist medical staff by performing clinical and administrative duties
- Assist with in-office procedures such as fine needle thyroid nodule aspiration (FNAbx), fingerstick glucose and HgbA1C testing.
- Answer the telephone and triage calls
- Manage voicemails and other patient messages
- Schedule appointments
- Manage incoming and outgoing faxes
- Order patient lab work and imaging studies at the direction of the clinician
- Assist with completion of prior authorizations and order forms
- Prepare telehealth visits for physician
- Collect personal, medical and insurance information, collect co-pays during check-in process
- Collect patient payments
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by preparing, disinfecting, and cleaning exam rooms and patient waiting area
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
